Getting the right lid:
With "Type-A" lids, the top lip of the lid sits INSIDE THE LIP of the iron ring.. If your existing ring  on top of  the ring edges, it is a C or X style lid and you need to see our other listings.

Replaces metal top lids - Iron A style ring not included.
For replacement of existing lids for better radio reading, upgrading pits, or replacing broken lids or installing Sensus Radio or Flexnet units.
Works for other brand through the lid antennas of 4" diameter or less including
Sensus,
Kamstrup AMR, Master Meter Dialog, Badger Orion
, etc. Does not work for Neptune R-900, see separate recessed lid  designed specifically for Neptune.
Recessed Hole for Sensus Pit Antennas
- The recessed or countersunk area allows the Sensus, Badger, Kamstrup, or other similar antenna to be flush with the top surface of the lid. No more antenna damage from lawn mowers, snow Blowers or plows, or traffic. Reduced Trip Hazard from antenna thickness. Hole is offset in the recessed area to specifically Sensus Radio transmitter units (Sensus antenna, transmitter, or cap not included). Also works for touch read devices that will fit in the hole of the dimensions shown below.
