    1876 Centennial Exhibition REVERSE PAINTED OVAL JEWELRY BOX Main Building
    This auction is for a very scarce, reverse painted jewelry box from the 1876 Centennial Exhibition in Philadelphia.   The nickel-plated brass jewelry box has a beveled glass top with a multicolor reverse painting of the Main Building.  The oval dimensions are approximately 2 ¼” x 3 ½” and it stands  1 ¾” high.  The condition is VF with light wear and a few tiny paint flecks.  Please look at all the photos and ask any questions.  See my other auctions - combine shipping and save.
