Description
1956 Washington Senators Team-signed baseball, with 24 signatures (2 are clubhouse - see below), including Whitey Herzog (HOF) in his rookie season and fan favorites such as Roy Sievers, Ed Yost, Pete Runnels and Camilo Pascual. Penned on OAL Harridge baseball in blue ink. The baseball comes with the ball cube that I originally got with it.The shipping charge includes insurance. If the purchaser wishes to save the shipping charge, I will be glad to deliver the baseball to you at the upcoming Chantilly Show on Saturday, July 10th. I am also listing a few other Senators Team-signed baseballs, and I'll gladly combine shipments.
I got this signed baseball in the Huggins & Scott Auction that ended October 18, 2007. It was Auction Lot #1475. I took the photos in this eBay listing. I encourage you to go to the Huggins & Scott website and see this lot with their photos in their auction history. Per the auction listing, "
the signatures mostly display a (“7-8”) signature strength. The ball grades a (“6”) with minimal abrasion marks on each panel which lightly affect a handful of autographs."
The auction listing also states that this baseball "comes with a COA from James Spence Authentications." Unfortunately, I don't have this COA - either I have lost it (I don't think so), or I never received it (most likely - probably because I was to pick up this lot at the Chantilly Show to save the shipping cost). Nevertheless, I guarantee the signatures on this baseball to be authentic. Below is the listing of the signatures on the baseball that I have copied and pasted from the Huggins & Scott auction listing:
