    A carbon monoxide alarm
    Features of carbon monoxide alarms:
    "Test" button
This button is the one you will press when you test the alarm each week.
The carbon monoxide from the air vent enters the sensing chamber through the gap between the front case and the bottom case of the alarm. In order to allow the air to circulate normally, do not install the alarm in a very dirty, dusty or greasy place. The sensor adopts electrochemical technology, which has high sensitivity to carbon monoxide and avoids the occurrence of false alarms. The buzzer has a volume of up to 85 decibels to alert you to danger. The form of carbon monoxide alarm is: beep three times, stop for 1 or 5 seconds, and repeat.
What carbon monoxide alarms can and cannot do:
The alarm is designed to sense insensate carbon monoxide from a malfunctioning water heater, gas stove, gasoline engine or other source of carbon monoxide. The alarm can only detect carbon monoxide reaching the sensor head, carbon monoxide may appear in other places without reaching the sensor head. The speed at which carbon monoxide reaches the alarm may be affected by doors, windows or other obstructions. Additionally, fresh air from vents or open windows or any other source may prevent carbon monoxide from reaching the sensor head.
Carbon monoxide can appear on one floor of a home without reaching the one with the alarm. For this reason, we recommend installing a carbon monoxide alarm on each floor to protect the entire home.
This alarm cannot be used to detect natural gas (methane), propane, butane or other flammable materials.
    Where to install the alarm:
Install the alarm near the bedroom and living area or where you think carbon monoxide may leak. It is recommended to install it on each floor of a multi-storey building. When choosing a location, make sure that you can find it in every sleeping place. Hear the bell.
Note: If the alarm is stored or placed in a place where the temperature is lower than 4°C for more than 30 minutes, it must be placed at room temperature for at least 12 hours before it can be used. Incorrect position will affect the sensitive electronic components in the alarm. . See the description in the next section where the siren cannot be installed.
    How to install the alarm:
First, select the installation location of the alarm.
Next, fasten the base to the wall or ceiling with the screws from the accessories provided with the alarm, then install the battery, and then screw the alarm to the base (Note: Align the bottom cover of the alarm with the horizontal bar on the base to facilitate Rotate the alarm to the base.)
    normal operating characteristics
When the alarm is powered on, the red light will flash, press the test button, the alarm will sound an alarm, indicating that the carbon monoxide alarm is powered on and the line is working. (When the power is turned on or the battery is replaced, the alarm may sound, and it will return to normal after a few minutes.)
    How to Test the Alarm
Press the "Test" button, the alarm will sound, and the red indicator light will flash, indicating that the alarm is working properly.
    How to Maintain Your Alarm
    • Once a month, vacuum the dust on the surface of the alarm.
    • Do not wipe the alarm with cleaners or solvents. Chemicals can permanently damage or temporarily contaminate the sensor head.
    • Avoid spraying air fresheners, hairspray, paint or other aerosols near the alarm.
    The substances listed below may cause alarms to alarm instead of carbon monoxide at high concentrations;
Methane, propane, isobutane, ethylene, ethanol, alcohol, isopropane, benzene, toluene, acetaldehyde, acetate, hydrogen, hydrogen sulfide, sulfur dioxide. Almost all aerosol sprays, alcohol preparations, paints, thinners, solvents, adhesives, hairsprays, aftershaves, perfumes, car exhaust (cold starts) and some detergent substitutes.
