Note: BOX-M2 is only applicable to the new version of ESamrt solar controller produced in October 2020
TWO WORKING MODES:
1. WIFI hotspot routing mode, Access Point (hereinafter referred to as AP mode). In this mode, Cloud-Box-M1 acts as a hotspot, allowing other wireless terminal devices to access and providing data access;
The APP of the WiFi connector can be obtained through the following ways
1) There is a QR code download address in the WIFI module manual;
2) Apple IOS can be downloaded and installed by searching MY GREEN SOLAR MONITOR in the App Store; Android phones can be downloaded and installed via GOOGLE PLAY search for MY GREEN SOLAR MONITOR;
2.Wireless terminal mode, Station (hereinafter referred to as STA mode), Cloud-Box-M1 can connect to the router WIFI hotspot, but it does not accept wireless access.
USE OF KEY INSTRUCTIONS:
Exit/default press: click the button --- switch to AP/STA mode
Long press for 6~8 seconds --- enter STA mode, make Cloud-Box-M1 enter STA suspended state (reset the last password set by the router)
--AP mode, reinitialize the firmware after updating
Reset button: reset switch.
WORKING MODE STATUS INDICATOR:
When restarting the power or pressing the reset button:
If the "signal" light keeps on for 10 seconds and then flashes, it means it is working in AP mode.
If the "signal" light flashes immediately, it means that it is working in STA mode.
AP MODE CONFIGURATION STEPS:
1. Make sure Cloud-Box-M1 is in AP mode.
2. Search the WIFI hotspot on the mobile phone-"MyGreen-Solar-XXXX", enter the password "88888888" to connect to the hotspot.
3. Open the APP in the mobile phone or Pad, enter the home page, and click "AP Mode" in the upper left corner to enter the monitoring center.
STA MODE CONFIGURATION STEPS:
1. Make sure Cloud-Box-M1 is in AP mode
2. Connect the router hotspot on the phone
3. Make sure that Cloud-Box-M1 is within the signal range of the router.
4. After Cloud-Box-M1 is configured, click "LAN Search" in the hotspot to search for devices; in 4G (or cellular) or connected hotspots, click "Scan QR Code" to scan the QR code of Cloud-Box-M1 to search equipment.
5. For the first configuration, open the APP in the phone or Pad, enter the home page, click on the "menu" in the upper right corner, and then click on "Add Device" to enter the password. After confirming with "OK", continue to search for all "Cloud-Box-M1" devices within the signal range of the router. After the match is successful, click "Return" in the upper left corner to return to the home page, and select the correct one from the list to enter the monitoring center.
